British Bee ah recently installed the first batch of abandoned bulb recycling machines in the Middle East in the United Arab emirates. The whole project will begin in Sharjah and eventually spread throughout the United Arab emirates.
The recycling machines installed by Bee ah can recycle all types of household light bulbs, including incandescent bulbs, energy saving lights, and LED lights. The machine's video recognition system automatically identifies the types of light bulbs that are recovered, and users need only simple operations to complete the recycling process. Upon completion, the user may choose to donate the proceeds to some charitable organization, or receive a paid receipt and exchange the relevant benefits at the designated place.
The project will help reduce the toxic effects of landfill in the uae. Bee ah group CEOKhaledAlHuraimel said the project would also help to build Sharjah into an environmentally friendly city in the Middle East and take the lead in becoming a landfill free city.
